With cattle roaming freely on the roads it makes it so difficult for riders and drivers to manoeuvre on the roads, thereby creating a hazard and increasing possibilities of accidents and fatalities. Lack of safety such as no helmets worn by riders, lack of discipline by road users who overtake from both sides, just bides time for a calamity to happen. This is so exasperating and vexing!!!
There should be some form of monitoring on all roads to encourage discipline on the roads and foster road safety – cameras which result in fines and accountability for the removal of cattle. The picture is a common sight not just in Taleigao.
