I have been writing many times that speed breakers need to be installed after Arlem Circle on the road towards Ponda near Orchids bldg. I had written on February 19, 2018 and April 2, 2018 in Citizen Herald page. Recently, another accident took place on December 7. I believe if there was a speed breaker, many accidents would have been avoided.
This all happens because there is a connecting road to travel into the interiors and people have to drive across the road while vehicles coming from Ponda continue to travel at the maximum speed as per the speed limit as its the highway.
So my request to the concerned authority to install speed breakers and not rumblers, so that everyone will be safe including pedestrian and motorists to cross the road.
