Goa CM Pramod Sawant Orders Tightened Jail Security, Inspections at All Vehicle Entry Points

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced stricter security measures at the state’s jail, directing authorities to inspect all vehicle entry points to prevent any future security breaches.

Speaking to reporters, Sawant said he has instructed the Jail In-Charge to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the prison premises and strengthen security protocols to ensure that similar lapses do not recur.

Assuring the public that corrective measures are being implemented, the Chief Minister said the government is committed to maintaining strict vigilance at the jail.

“It won’t happen going forward,” Sawant said, expressing confidence that the enhanced monitoring and inspections would prevent any recurrence of security lapses.
