Pralhad Joshi Urges Karnataka to Withdraw Mhadei Cases in Supreme Court to Fast-Track Project Clearances

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has said he has urged the Karnataka government to withdraw its pending cases in the Supreme Court related to the Mhadei river dispute to remove administrative hurdles and expedite project clearances.

Joshi said the proposal was discussed with the Karnataka government, and the Chief Minister responded positively. According to the Union Minister, withdrawing the pending litigation would help pave the way for resolving the long-standing water-sharing dispute through cooperation between the Centre and the state.
