Anti-encroachment does not work in Vasco

The new municipal council in Vasco in all its enthusiasm carried out a massive drive to clear the roads of all encroachment by vegetable and fruit vendors. But the ground reality is that at several places fruit vendors with the hand-carts are seen occupying a section of the roads. This encroachment on the roads is more prominent after dusk in the busy market place. This (the encroachment) reduces the parking space in the market specially, at the peak time in the evening when the place is crowded with shoppers. The civic authorities in the Port Town need to take all steps to see that the roads are not occupied by these hand-carts, specially, after sun-set as they cause inconvenience to the general public.
