Is it mandatory for the advertising agencies to display vague posters in front of the religious places to gain publicity and fill their coffers?
There is a billboard near the chapel of Our Lady of Piety, at Panelim, Sao Pedro, Bainguinim with a very vague advertising poster creating a disgusting sight to all worshippers who come to attend Mass at the chapel every Tuesday and for those going to pray at the St. Anthony’s chapel the whole day which is very near to this chapel.
This has been brought to the notice of the Panchayat but nothing has happened as of now. Can the relevant authorities kindly take note of this and authorize the advertising agency to replace the same billboard with decent advertising in front of the chapel immediately.
