I had reported about a broken concrete base of an electric pole along the Swatantra Path in Vasco near the municipal market (Herald April 23).
The pole was in danger of falling as there was very little support at the base.
Fortunately, the authorities concerned have taken note of the same and built a new concrete base for the electric pole in quick time.
However, the debris of the old broken concrete base still lies on the road median (as seen in the photo) and was not been removed till Friday evening.
The debris causes a hindrance to pedestrians crossing the road as well as the traffic and needs to be removed before it causes accidents.
