A dry tree existing opposite Shree Maruti Temple at Varkhandem in Ponda poses danger for the commuters and pedestrians proceeding along this location. Vehicular traffic flows continuously along this route.
Even the school students and employees working in industrial units at Kundaim Industrial Estate walk this way in order to board the company vehicles. Even the government employees and construction workers add to this list.
The tree is likely to collapse to the ground at any instance thereby leading to adverse consequences. This would certainly result in destruction of the vehicles and also loss of precious human lives.
Till recently, the situation in this regard was found to be the same. Nevertheless, it is absolutely necessary that the above dry tree is chopped on immediate basis so that safety is assured to public at large. Let us hope that the concerned authorities would take a note of this sensitive matter and do the needful at the earliest without any further delay. Such a favourable step will be appreciated by all.
