This is with reference to the several complaints regarding huge amount of electricity bills, by residents in various parts of Goa.
Some are quite lucky to receive them up to the tune of an average between Rs 5000 to Rs 17,000 for a short period of a quarter or so.
As for me, for the period from March 26, 2014 to May 26, 2014,I have been charged Rs 32,407 and from May 15, 2014 to September 06, 2014 I have been charged Rs 60,778 which is unbelievable for a residence.
I took up the matter with the Electricity department, Mapusa, in November 2014, who have replaced the meter but no refund has been paid.
I hope the amount will not triple in the next bill.
