Fogging necessary to prevent vector-borne diseases

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 is on the decline and so is the number of deaths due to the virus which is a good sign. 

However, there are other vector-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, etc. which spread during the onset of the monsoon. These diseases can also lead to fatality. The one way to protect the people from the diseases is by killing the mosquitoes and the larvae by fogging.

The civic bodies and the panchayats need to see to it that every councillor and panch respectively is provided with a fogging machine. 

These machines should be used at the start of the monsoon in order to kill the mosquitoes and the larvae.
