A ground that is about 50 meters away from the “We for Fatorda” football ground is being used for all anti-social activities by youth in Murida-Fatorda. This is an open plot along the road (behind Canara Bank ATM) going towards the bandh that connects to Borda.
Each day, at least 2-3 groups of boys come on their bikes or cars and drink, smoke and leaving behind alcohol bottles and other plastic waste. The ground that was once used by kids to play is now a dumping and drinking place.
Drinking in public is prohibited, but the youth have no fear of the law.
The youth also play loud music at times with utter disregard that they are in a residential area. Such music “parties” last even till 11-12 in the night and needs to stop. The ground needs to be cleaned and barricaded to prevent such anti-social activities. I humbly request the concerned authorities to take swift action and curb this menace.
Time that police patrol the area frequently to keep anti social elements at bay.
