There are some junctions which are highly dangerous. The Karaswada Junction is a deadly junction and one does not know while crossing the junction the person will be alive or dead. And in spite of this, no authority feels the need to install traffic lights which will not cost much.
The second junction in Mapusa is the one when you come down the Mapusa Old Municipality Building. One has to keep the heart in the pocket while moving on that stretch of road as some drunks will enter the no entry zone. It’s high time the authorities put a traffic light at that junction and also install one CCTV camera in front of Joao Menezes Pharmacy and one at the corporation building to check parking in no parking zone.
