This happened at Margao bus stand on Sunday, February 18, 2018, evening where the advertising staff of an organisation were sticking out stickers at the hoardings and the garbage generated was simply dropped off on the footpaths leading to bus stand thus putting the pedestrians at risk.
The garbage further spilled over on the highway roadside with running traffic. Were the staff of the company not trained to collect the garbage generated? Do the concerned authorities, who give licences to install these advertisements, issue standing instructions to collect the garbage generated? Is this Swachh Bharat?
