Stephen Dias, through a letter titled ‘Electrical box broken near Dhempe College’ (April 15) has brought the attention of the authorities to a broken electrical box near Dhempe College, Miramar, which has been lying in that state for a long period. On the same day of publishing this letter, we received a clarification from the Assistant Engineer of the Electricity Department as under: This has reference to the news report that appeared on page 2 of your esteemed publication dated April 15, wherein a photograph of a corroded box at Miramar is shown. The site was visited immediately and it was confirmed that the box does not belong to this department, but probably to BSNL.
