Our long wait for Kadamba Transport Corporation’s bus service en route Salvador do Mundo via Socorro, Bastora villages to Mapusa depot is over.
Thank you for highlighting our grievances on Citizen Herald, November 1. We are also thankful to the Good Samaritan who pursued our interest relentlessly running high and low to the concerned department, Kadamba Transport Corporation to grant the service. The service has come into effect from December 7. An elderly villager gave a sigh of relief saying, “Zanv Saiba, Kadamba aili (Thank God, we have Kadamba service).” In fact, it has come at the right time in the 60th year of Goa Liberation. “Thank you Kadamba Transport Corporation, Dev borem korum and obrigado Herald,” said Eldrich D’Souza.
