Large bundles of cables and other devices are seen hanging from electricity poles along the Swatantra Path and F L Gomes Road in the port town of Vasco. This has become a sore sight and can prove dangerous to two-wheeler riders and pedestrians crossing the road.
Many a times, broken cables are seen strewn on the road. Electricity poles should be used only for carrying electricity wires and no other purpose. The concerned authorities need to show zero tolerance towards such activities.
