We the passengers travelling from Kullem to Vasco-da-gama and back along with the students of Guardian Angel Higher Secondary School and Chandrabaga T.N Higher secondary school, Curchorem Goa would like to bring our grievances to the attention of the concerned authorities through Citizen Herald.
The existing train from Kullem to Vasco-da-gama and back train no 56964/56963 has been cancelled by the station manager Vasco-da-gama for no reason, thereby putting the working passengers and students into great hardship.
There exists only one minibus that caters to people from Kullem and Kalay to Curchorem and is always overcrowded after the stoppage of this train.
The movement of goods and express trains on this route has been not effected and the movement of passenger train has been cancelled.
As per the reply given by the Divisional Railway Manager Hubli, it was informed that the train will be continued in service from May, 30, 2018 which has not been done till today.
We humbly request the Railway authorities to look into the matter and restart train no 56963/56964 at the earliest so that the students that are studying get the basic Right of Education.
