Municipality turning blind eye

It is seen that a junction circle at Gogol is named ‘Bolshoy’ by someone and being used by bus operators to drop the passengers.

This is continuing for years without cognizance being taken by Municipality or else turned blind eye and accepted it for reasons best known to them. Another circle at Colva junction is being regularly used to display hoardings of only a particular politician. It should not be a surprise that eventually it is named after him (Council being under his control).
Such hoardings are causing distraction to motorists and liable to cause accidents on this busy junction at city entry.  Further it is a defecation of public property for promoting self interests.
It is high time now Municipal Council takes review of all such prominent locations/streets and formally renames them after late city fathers/distinguished personalities, for easy identification of areas, spots, junctions etc. It is hoped authorities takes action for using public places for personal gains.
