It was a welcome sight to see the Veer Sawarkar traffic Island at Mapusa being renovated.
But I have noticed that the structure with the additional pedestal of stones maybe a traffic hazardous for many motorists and two-wheelers. I hope the Mapusa Municipal Council, along with the volunteers of Veer Sawarkar, will sit with the traffic authorities, architect and engineer for making a safe traffic island.
