At the Adpai Jetty in Ponda, a time-table pertaining to timing of ferry service from Adpai to Rassaim and back has been installed for the information of the commuters travelling via Adpai Ferry.
However, at the Durbhat Jetty (also in Ponda), no such time-table has been put up at this premises. Hence, the commuters wishing to proceed via Durbhat Ferry towards Rassaim do not get necessary information of timing pertaining to ferry service. Hence, they remain in the dark.

In the absence of necessary time table at this premises, many commuters reach here much early with the fear of missing the concerned ferry timing. This involves waste of one’s precious time. Some commuters even miss the concerned ferry timing for reaching late at this particular jetty. Many people proceed for work at Cortarim, Verna, Vasco and the neighbouring areas via Durbhat Ferry and they are likely to face problem at their respective place of work for reaching late.
They face great inconvenience in the process. Hence it would be advisable for the Captain of Ports to install the much needed time table of ferry service at the Durbhat jetty (the way it is done at the Adpai jetty) at the earliest so that the commuters remain aware of the exact timing of ferry service. Such a favourable step would assure relief to them to a great extent. Let us hope that the authorities would do the needful at the earliest in the interest of innocent travellers.
