The two-month fishing ban observed in Goa during south west monsoon is indeed a welcome step to increase fish production. At the same time the size of fishing nets should also be controlled.
Recently I saw baby fish being sold at the dirty Margao fish market. I think the government and the concerned department regulate the size of fishing nets, so that small fish can grow.
