It is shocking to see that the Railway authority is doing the substandard work at the Railway Crossing Gate No 18 at Chandor-Guirdolim.
The construction work of railway which is going on next to the railway gate crossing is dangerous because it is built without cutting the branches of the huge old tree which can damage the building and can injure the people working there.

Wooden blocks are kept on the sides of the railway tracks at the Railway Crossing Gate No 18 which is dangerous to the road users which had already caused damages to the two-wheeler riders and accidents taken place injuring the innocent people.
The concrete road which is made for the traffic to pass out through underground bridge is carried out in substandard work because they have not shifted the signboard neither cut off the coconut tree which is in the middle of the concrete road which can damage the vehicles and injure the riders/drivers and pedestrians using the road.
Remember that safety always comes first. The shifting of the signboard and cutting of the coconut tree is a must for the safety of the public. It has brought to the notice of the Village Panchayat Office but no action is taken yet.
So we request the Guirdolim Village Panchayat office, Railway authority, MLA Clefasio Dias and the Government of Goa to immediately look into this matter and solve the issue as soon as possible for the safety and interest of the public.
