In the initial stages a concrete signboard depicting direction towards Goa Engineering College and Panjim (with necessary details of distance) was installed in the vicinity of main bus stop at Farmagudi in Ponda.
However during recent years, the same has been lying in a neglected condition. Most of the words have disappeared from the scene, and the signboard is in a dilapidated condition.
This being a strategic route it is absolutely necessary for the concerned authority to provide necessary facelift to this signboard at the earliest.
Such a positive step would go a long way in assuring relief to innocent travellers proceeding along this busy route. It would also help in improving the image of the concerned department. Let us hope that the authorities would do the needful at the earliest in public interest.
