Recently, a discussion was held with authorities with regards to sanitation and vector borne diseases which may be caused due to stagnant water in Mapusa.
There is one such area along the Mapusa-Guirim border where a puddle of stagnant water has been formed near the Green Park Hotel due to pipeline leakage. Whether it is a water or sewage line leakage the authorities need to check. I request the Guirim Panchayat or MMC or the health officer from the area to check and direct the concerned authorities to attend to the same.
