In the Citizen Herald page of the Herald edition dated as early as May 22 this year, I had highlighted that fact that there were no steps at the entrance leading to the Baina beach.
People visiting the beach were put to a lot of hardship as they had to step over stones.
It was extremely difficult for children and senior citizens to go to the beach in the absence of proper steps.
The authorities concerned have now built steps leading to the beach which has made it more convenient for citizens to go to the beach front.
