TWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar continues to believe that his engineers (PWD PHEN) are doing good work for the people of the State but the consumers are wasting the treated water.
Just a few days back the PWD pipeline was damaged at SFX School and thousand of litres of water went waste into the drain.
Just few days after that incident at Marna MDR-6 road near the Midway junction road there was continues seepage of water which was seen on the road till it gave way the another thousand of litres went into the nearby property.
Will the minister act or find excuses of changing the pipeline at a prize? Will the Minister and his assistant Engineer assure Siolkars of 6X7 water supply or blame the nature and pipes instead of their poor inefficiency? The assistant engineer of Siolim has to be shunted out of Siolim constituency. There have been too many problems of late and consumers are silently facing and tolerating as they are helpless lot.
The PWD does not have any assured supply notification as to how much water a consumer is supposed to get per day unless there is a breakdown.
Let the chief engineer clarify on local newspapers what the Department is supposed to give the consumers of Goa. Engaging consultants with no improvement is useless; it’s just filling of their own pockets.
