These trees near the Military Hospital, Campal have their heavy branches dangerously dangling over the road below which is heavily used and could be a potential risk for motorists and pedestrians alike.
Similarly, many other trees on the DB Marg from the Market to Kala Academy need to be trimmed wherever their branches are hovering over the road. It is very frightening to move under these huge branches during rains and storms. Many lives have been lost, people injured and property damaged by falling branches in the past.

The earlier the exercise of trimming is done the better. The new trees planted could be medicinal, fruit bearing or decorative trees which discard less leaves and flowers thereby reducing the work of municipal staff.
