The residents brought to the notice of the chairperson that the stretch of the road needs urgent attention as the residents there face many hardships while crossing the road during rainy season. They also questioned as to why even after the tender being passed 18 months back still why the work of tarring the road was not started. They also said that the officials in VMC had promised to complete the work before the rains or would make some temporary arrangement; but had failed to do either till date.
The chairperson after listening to the residents assured that the repair work would be completed on priority.
