He was speaking at the press conference of the 9-day Swacchata Sapatah observed at Konkan Railway Stations.
Regional Manager Md Aasim Sulaiman said, “The areas beyond the stations are the responsibility of the local self governments and we will soon be writing to the MMC to undertake bush cutting and also cleaning of garbage.”
The nine-day programme lays special emphasis on improving the cleanliness of the stations and trains.
