PANJIM: The Excise Department has ordered closure of all breweries, wineries, country liquor bottling units, IMFL manufacturing units except those granted permission for manufacturing sanitizers and all liquor licenced premises for the sale of liquor, shall remained closed for 21 days with effect from March 25 till April 14.
The order has been issued by Commissioner Amit Satija in view of the lockdown nationwide to battle the spread of COVID-19.
Among the liquor licensed premises includes wholesale IMFL, wholesale foreign liquor, wholesale country liquor; retail sale of IMFL,country liquor, foreign liquor in packed bottles and those for consumption.
