PANJIM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar hinted at holding a winter session of the State Assembly in November, before Goa goes to the polls early next year. The monsoon session of the State Assembly is scheduled to commence from Monday, and many expected this to be the last session of this government. However, Parsekar said they are considering having the Assembly sit for a winter session.
“We are thinking of having one more Assembly session in November this year. We have not yet finalized but we may have a winter session,” Parsekar told media persons responding to a question on whether the monsoon session would be the last sitting of the current government. He said the State will go to the polls early next year.
