CM lays foundation stone for Forest HQ

PANJIM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Wednesday laid foundation stone for construction of new Forest Headquarter at Altinho, which will house the forest department, environment department and other related authorities.

PANJIM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Wednesday laid foundation stone for construction of new Forest Headquarter at Altinho, which will house the forest department, environment department and other related authorities. 
The proposed project includes forest headquarters building on a plot area of 3270.00 sq mts located at Altinho, Old IPHB complex. The building is designed as per standard building design codes. The Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) has been awarded the work. 
The total built up area is 3067.00 sq. mts with adequate space for principal chief conservator of forest, additional principal chief conservator of forest, conservator of forest, deputy conservator of forest, accounts section, legal section, library, conference room etc. The project also includes parking spaces for two wheelers and four wheelers.
