PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his first visit to the national capital after the formation of the new government.
The CM’s Office informed about the meeting in a tweet. During his visit, the Chief Minister is learnt to have met some of the Union Ministers and discussed Goa-related issues.
The Chief Minister, however, could not call the Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the latter was in Gandhinagar, Gujarat to inaugurate the Global AYUSH and Innovation Summit. Sawant returned Goa on Wednesday late evening.
