PANJIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant will launch a moving float on three key initiatives started by the State government, namely ‘Swayampurna Goa’, ‘Goa@60’ and ‘Know Your Scheme’ on September 13, at Marcel bus stand, at 11 am.
The outdoor promotional event, which will be launched by the Chief Minister on Monday, will conclude on September 23. It will cover all villages in North and South Goa and at all Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandals during the period.
“In pursuance to the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign, an initiative of the Union government, the State government has embarked upon a mission and has geared up its machinery to make Goa Swayampurna in all areas of human endeavour. This (moving float) is one such endeavour to yield the desired results in this direction,” the State Department of Information and Publicity said.
To make people aware and increase awareness on these initiatives to rural and urban residents, the Information and Publicity Department has developed a float on the celebratory theme of Ganesh Chaturthi on a vehicle with a “dekhava”(scene).
