According to sarpanch Snowkon R Gonsalves though arrangements had been made to hold the gram sabha on Sunday, heavy showers kept villagers from attending with poor response. He further informed that just 20 gram sabha members were presents and as there was no quorum and as there was demand that the same be postponed, it was decided to hold the same at a later date. No matter was taken for discussion. The sarpanch however did not state the date when the postponed gram sabha would shall be convened.
Judith informed that the members were forced to call for adjournment of the gram sabha due to the slippery conditions at the meeting venue following heavy showers.
