VASCO: Cortalim Farmers Club President Anton Vaz came to the rescue of Cortalim farmers and opined that the farmers should get their compensation due for over one year.
“Timely compensation will boost the morale of the farmers which have incurred losses during last monsoon season,” He said.
Vas supported the cause of local farmers who suffered loss due to flooding and heavy rains last year and opined that the compensation due to Cortalim farmers should be settle by the government immediately.
“The farmers have been eagerly waiting to get help from the government but despite of follow ups, the claims are yet to be settled.”
