Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said that the confusion surrounding recent developments in Sattari is being created by outsiders and not by the local population.
Speaking in the presence of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, the Chief Minister asserted that the people of Sattari are straightforward and clear-minded, and are well aware of what is right and wrong.

Sawant also took aim at certain sections of the media, alleging that some journalists were publishing incorrect reports that contribute to misunderstanding and unnecessary controversy.
“The people of Sattari are simple and clear in their thinking. The confusion being created is by outsiders, not by locals,” he said, adding that misleading reporting only serves to create unrest.
The Chief Minister urged all stakeholders to avoid spreading misinformation and to ensure that facts are verified before being circulated.
