PANJIM: Former Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) mayor and Congress leader Tony Rodrigues on Friday alleged that some anti-social elements are trying to enrol bogus voters in Taleigao constituency and demanded that the State Election Office should immediately look into the matter so as to ensure free and fair elections.
Rodrigues said that he has already filed a complaint with the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) stating that there are attempts to fabricate the electoral roll of the Taleigao constituency by enrolling bogus voters and thus in turn vitiate and disrupt the process of free and fair elections in the upcoming Assembly polls.
