PANJIM: Former Calangute MLA and Congress general secretary Agnelo Fernandes has been summoned to New Delhi by the party high command today.

During his visit, Fernandes will meet the party senior leaders including MP Rahul Gandhi.
Fernandes, who addressed media along with general secretary Adv Yatish Naik, who had now resigned from the party, reiterated that he is not quitting the Congress party.
“I am not leaving Congress party. I stand by my word,” said two-term MLA.
