PANJIM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Girish Chodankar on Tuesday said he has disclosed the name of the Cabinet Minister involved in the alleged sex scandal to Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai.
Chodankar said that he met the Governor and added, “I have urged His Excellency to sack the Minister.”
Chodankar further said that if Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Sadanand Shet Tanavade is still displaying ignorance, then he should meet the Governor to know the name of the Minister.
Taking to twitter, Chodankar said, “Met H E Governor of Goa and disclosed him the name of the @BJP4Goa Cabinet Minister involved in #SexScandal. It is #Vasanakand. Urged His Excellency to sack the Minister. @ShetSadanand if still displaying ignorance should meet Governor to know the name of the Minister.”
The Congress president said he had exposed the alleged sex scandal involving a Minister on November 30 and had urged the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to sack the Minister within 15 days. He said that 15-day deadline will end on Tuesday midnight and that he will now reveal the name of Minister by Wednesday.
