Delhi-based content creator Deepak Kumar has alleged that his social media account was blocked after he posted content related to the Curchorem sex scandal case, which is currently under investigation by the Crime Branch.
The case has drawn considerable public attention across Goa in recent months. Kumar questioned the action taken against his account, stating that citizens have a constitutional right to express their views and raise questions on matters of public interest.

According to Kumar, his account was targeted after he questioned why Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had not publicly commented on the Curchorem case. He alleged that the move was intended to discourage individuals from speaking out against those in positions of power.
Kumar further claimed that efforts are being made to silence voices that question government actions and raise issues concerning the public. He described the blocking of his account as an attempt to “break the backbone” of people who seek accountability from elected representatives.
The content creator also stated that the suspension of his social media account has adversely affected his livelihood, as he depended on the platform to create and distribute content and engage with his audience.
