VASCO: Goa Forward Party (GFP) President Vijai Sardesai on Friday said that the controversy over selection of primary teachers was “giving Goa a bad name and it should be resisted by all.”
Addressing as chief guest, the Teachers Day function at the Keshav Smruti School in Dabolim, Sardessai also emphasised that the teachers have to upgrade their knowledge as per the changing technology. “If this is not done, then, it will be unfair for the new generations. But there should not be any injustice to the teachers,” he said.
