PANJIM: Goa University (GU) has informed that it has been waiting for the new dates from the office of the President of India before finalising the fresh date for the annual convocation which was earlier scheduled for February 26 but had to be postponed following other engagements of President Ram Nath Kovind.
Speaking to Herald, GU Registrar Y V Reddy said, “We are waiting for the next date from the office of the President of India. Currently, we have not received any communication from their side. We will inform all of you once the university receives the fresh dates. As of now, the university has not distributed the degrees to its students.”
