PONDA: Police Constable Jayesh Talawanekar (23), a native of Parsem-Pernem and attached to Ponda Police station, died in a self accident near the KTC bus stand, Ponda, on Thursday evening.
On Thursday, while proceeding towards Ponda on his two-wheeler, Talawanekar lost control on reaching the Farmagudi slope towards the KTC bus stand at about 4 pm and fell down on the road. He died on the spot.
