MARGAO, APRIL 27
The Maina Curtorim police have commenced an inquiry into the complaint made by a woman that her brothers are allegedly trying to deny her the proportionate share in her ancestral property after the death of her parents.
Maina Curtorim PI Sidhant Shirodkar said the police has issued summons to the three brothers who the complainant alleged are trying to deny her the right in the ancestral property.
In support of her contention, the woman has attached a death certificate issued by the Church stating that the deceased parents are survived by only three sons. She alleged that the brothers have misrepresented to the public authorities that only they three are the sole universal heirs to her parents.
Further investigations are on.
