In a hearing on issues related to cable operators, the court has directed operators to take full responsibility for any accidents or damage caused by faulty or damaged cables and poles. According to activist Kashinath Shetye, the court has also instructed all operators to submit written confirmation acknowledging their responsibility and liability in such cases.
The directive aims to ensure public safety and prevent hazards arising from poorly maintained cable infrastructure. Further compliance measures are expected as the matter progresses.
