Cuncolim Police station incharge, PI Nelson Albuquerque has left for Punjab in search of the main accused Lucky Singh in connection with the Cuncolim girl shooting case.
Cuncolim PSI Prasanna Bhagat was earlier dispatched to Punjab after the ongoing probe revealed that it was accused Lucky Singh that killed the young girl after the later jilted him two months ago.
Police said the accused left the state after the cold blooded murder and is believed to have left for his native state Punjab.
The police have said it is important to nab the main killer and recover the weapon of offence used in the murder of the young girl.
