MARGAO: Burglars broke into the shop of Hitesh Talaulikar at Cuncolim market on Tuesday night and decamped cash of Rs 35,000 and cigarettes packets worth Rs 5,000.
The burglars gained entry into the shop by widening the gap in the wooden door with an iron road — without breaking the door.
When Talaulikar opened his shop in morning, he did not notice the robbery. But when reached out for the cash of Rs 35,000, meant for purchasing goods, was missing he realised that there has been a break in of his shop.
