CURCHOREM: The members of the Curchorem Market Associations voluntarily decided to extend the lockdown of Curchorem market for another two days till Wednesday (May 5).
According to Curchorem Merchant Association president Rocha Pereira, all the traders from Curchorem market voluntarily decided to keep their establishments closed for another two days.
“All the traders have voluntarily decided to keep their establishments closed for four days from last Friday till Monday due to increasing positive cases in the State. In Curchorem we have achieved some results by keeping the market closed.”
“As per my knowledge, cases have dipped in Curchorem and for further safety purpose, we all decided to keep our shops/establishments closed till Wednesday.” informed Pereira.
