CURCHOREM: One Dhiraj Patel, a native of Orissa currently residing at Mirabhag, Curchorem has filed a complaint with the Curchorem Police on Sunday claiming that his 35-year-old wife Shanti Patel has reportedly gone missing.
According to police, their minor son saw Shanti while leaving the house at around 6 am and thereafter later he went to play on a bicycle. When he reached the Mirabhag Bridge he saw his mother’s mobile and sandals on the bridge barrier.
“He took the same mobile and informed his father about it who in turn complained to the police,” said PSI Veronica Coutinho.
The police along with Curchorem Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot and conducted rescue and search operation till late evening but failed to trace her.
